There was an article about photodynamic therapy (PDT) in the recent Economist Magazine. No mention of Laserscope or any other laser company. Their emphasis was on the special drugs that are selectively incorporated into cancer or cells or psoriasis patches and then actived by light to kill the cells. In most cases the activation is by Lasers, but it can be topical light (like a tanning salon), or even x-rays. It seems a promising field, but the bottom line question is will it go mainstream, and will it sell lasers? I've been out of this stock for awhile (took my tax right-off in 1998). My recollection is that the management is not too disciplined about making profit. So for now, I'm still on the sidelines.

Humbly,
Geoff
