Hi Judy,

I use IQC to day trade and have been successful so far. I have been a member of IQC since March 1998 but only suscribed to the real time feed last Nov. I just practiced with the process for a couple of months to get a feel for the dynamics of the 5 min technicals and the 1 min tic.

I use the markets most active to pick a stock to trade or just use a high volume standby like CPQ. sometimes I use MSFT or CSCO, but only pick high volume trading stocks. I watch the market dynamics and only trade one issue at a time. If it is a down market I may not trade unless there is an end of day up action. Many times there will be a sell off at the open for 20 to 30 minutes washing out the sell on open orders from the night before or the weekend. I watch this closely and try to jump in as soon as the up tick occurs. If I wait until the RSI crosses 50 % there may have been 1/2 point move in the stock and it is almost too late to buy. There is usually about a 5 to 15 minute period to get in. I use Stochastics, MACD or RSI ( they use the same data) Momentum and volume. Stochastics is my main indicator and when the fast stochastics crosses the slow, with both below 20 then I usually buy, 500 or 1000 shrs. I keep the 1 min tracker displayed at all times. I only trade long. I use the other indicators to confirm the trade because they are slower.

My gains are usually $500 to $1000 using this strategy. If a trade goes bad I get out as quick as possible to limit my losses. I try to use percentages to assure that I am profitable. I have tried to find others trading with IQC but so far I have not made any other contacts. Send me a private message if you want to correspond more.

IQC tells me that the next release (In March) will have the bid and ask along with trade sizes which will help a lot. Also, they are fixing the ability to print the 1 minute tracker correctly.

I may some day decide to go to WOW or Metastock but for right now this seems to be working. I would like to exchange info and ideas if you are willing.

I like OQC because the whole thing works but a person need to be pretty good at Technical Analysis to use it for Day Trading. It is VERY good for the "END OF DAY" analysis. However there is another site that I like a lot for end of day...Clearstation.com

Regards
