GRIN website and valuation update

WEBSITE: The site appears to be in the process
of being upgraded. It is now possible to view a
wide range of the toy products being distributed,
via 'GRIN television'. Also, they have set-up a
birthday 'reminder' service via e-mail for friends
and relations. All I need now is an 'ORDER' button
to buy that Metal Molder kit.

VALUATION: Here is a recent stock screen I ran, using
the valuation measure of ROE/PE described in the
February issue of MONEY magazine and discussed here
previously (post #132). I asked for all companies in
the "Toys and games' sector with a PE and ROE between
-1000 and 1000. Here is the result.

COMPANY.......................PE.......ROE.....ROE/PE
Action Products International, Inc 12.1 18.8% 1.6
CTI Industries Corporation 2.3 31.2% 13.6
Equity Marketing, Inc. 9.3 26.6% 2.9
Grand Toys International, Inc. 5.0 36.4% 7.3
Hasbro, Inc. 25.5 11.5% 0.5
JAKKS Pacific, Inc. 22.6 10.8% 0.5
Mattel, Inc. 24.2 15.9% 0.7
Media Arts Group, Inc. 10.1 35.0% 3.5
Midway Games Inc. 8.2 23.8% 2.9
Play By Play Toys & Novelties, Inc. 9.0 9.4% 1.0
Russ Berrie and Company, Inc. 12.8 26.1% 2.0
The First Years Inc. 18.5 16.8% 0.9
THQ, Inc. 22.2 27.8% 1.3
Zindart Limited 4.3 19.7% 4.6

GRIN ranks second out of the 14 companies. BUT WAIT !!
That top company, CTI, has a debt/equity ratio of 62%.
So GRIN still appears to be the best of the bunch as
far as valuation goes...and at almost 40 years of age,
I bet they're the oldest company as well.
