Interesting tidbit on Samsung and DDRAM. Looks like they're trying to corner the market for people with computers that simply want to upgrade their existing computers. Again, that article shows how slow DDRAM is, especially compared to RDRAM. I sincerely doubt that any computer over $1000 will ever include these slower chips once RDRAM is commercially available. Especially since all the major manufacturers have come out in support of RDRAM.

Interesting also how these chips won't be available until the 2nd half of 1999 and that they say that they have a timing edge over Rambus. Hmmmm. Are they using the Chinese calendar?
