There has to be a point where CWEI will stop falling---CWEI is reacting to the change in oil prices. I have monitored it very closely today and each time oil has stabilized momentarily CWEI stops selling off, but as soon as oil starts falling again, CWEI, in response, sells off some more. CWEI is presently trading at 14 1/4 X 14 3/4. Trading has been very heavy, the volume is over 160K shares with 90 minutes to go yet. The 100 day moving average line is at 14 3/4 or 14 7/8, so that line has been broken. CWEI is selling at less than 8X 1996 estimated earnings, and less than 12X 1997 estimated earnings. Reminded me of one of the Bill Cosby albums about Noah and his not wanting to put forth the effort to build the Ark---when the voice of God spoke out! "Noah!! How long can you tread water??" Just had a glimmer of hope, now trading at 14 3/8 X 14 3/4---a 5K buy came across @ 14 3/4, another 7.5K buy at 14 3/4--boy, what a good deal CWEI is at this price.
