This is further evidence that Pete is eating Bill Gates' lunch. Of the four banks mentioned in the release, Chase and Bank One are on Transpoint's "advisory board" and PNC and Bank One are pilot participants. These banks with a foot in both camps are seeing that CKFR is operational while Transpoint is still diddling about with pilots.

Also, it's interesting that of the five financial institutions mentioned as places where customers can receive and pay bills electronically as soon as the program launches this spring, three are NOT banks: Prudential, Morgan Stanley and Schwab. Memo to banks: get moving or lose!
