Barrick have only themselves to blame if they are ticked off. I don't think they are though. They made a low ball bid after agreeing to $5.50 / share with the lock up. The interesting thing is they blew it. They could have had ARP at $6.75 but chose to dicker for a few cents. ARP will sell for much more now that drilling is increased and other reserves will likely be found. The 20 m oz figure being use by Lundin as mentioned in previous posts tells me he is pretty confident. One has to wonder in fact if he is being conservative. That would be nice.
