Santiago,

"God's Word is everything to the born again Christian. Yes, He truly
speaks to those who seek him in love and in truth."

You're right, God once truly spoke to me very briefly (audibly) in response to prayer. Though, the prayer had taken place over a period of several months before and when I heard God's voice I wasn't praying or even thinking about God. But I won't be dogmatic and say that this happens often as I have no idea if it does. I don't hear people talk about this (except for obvious fakers like Pat Robertson and Jimmy Swaggart) so it may be kind of rare. Is your statement above based on personal experience, that is, has God spoken to you? And I mean really spoken. I'm talking about hearing, not feeling something within.

" That is why the Bible
is called God's living Word, because Jesus is the Word and the Word is
Jesus.

When Paul tells us that if we as Christians have hope only for this
life, and that if if Jesus was not resurrected, then we, of all people
are truly to be pitied. His words come off the page and the seeking
Christian truly finds life eternal in the pages of God's Word. "

Clever phrasing on Paul's part.

"It is a miracle, but as Jesus says his flock knows His voice, and
follows Him.

I pray that you find salvation in Jesus."

Thanks. And may you be a sheep and not a goat.
