The number of large software companies has shrunk greatly too-- in fact, basically there is no opportunity for someone with a good idea to start a software company anymore.

Really? Last I checked the software business was booming.

Microsoft will steal the code if its a good idea or simply recreate it themselves.

So Microsoft should not be allowed to market new products? Are you suggesting that if a company writes a product or has a new idea, they are the only ones that should be able to have that product? So in effect, there would be only 1 browser, 1 word processor, 1 spreadsheet, 1 storage backup, etc?

I'm not familiar with Microsoft "stealing code" from anyone, but I could be wrong. Stac perhaps?

If there is Justice in this country, Microsoft will be shut down by the federal government, its stock made worthless, and all of its intellectual property made public domain.

Yeah, that makes sense. What we want to do is take the one industry where the US leads the world and then crush it. Great idea. Crush success at all costs.

If you have MSFT stock, you are scum. You support the criminals, and you are an acomplice.

That's good thinking. And didn't you used to work there, Dragonfly?
