I wonder who's paying Steve Bass to say all those mean things about Iomega. Couldn't be Syquest; they don't have any money. The Orb guys? Who knows?

Too bad Mr. Computer journalist finally ran into a glitch (if he did) with his equipment. The millions of the rest of us are probably just a bit less lucky than Bass.

I guess, if Iomega is a responsible company, they will start emblazoning their packaging with big red letters that spell out... "warning.....,failure rate of 0.?? percent". Of course, they might also list failure rates for other computer products, so that consumers could make informed choices when shopping.

Actually, I'm thinking of going after SI, for not labeling all RR posts as having a truth factor of near zero!

By the way, if you read this thread, Mr Bass; I'm glad your drive failed. You sound like a jerk. In any case, based on your column, it's unlikely you lost anything of value.
