My source has indicated that while that may be they case, we are not to worry about it...indeed we won't be worrying about it once mass distribution begins.

They apparently did have had some difficulty with the double 00 expriation dates on several of the early batches which have shipped (literally) early for the SE Asia market. A rep was dispatched to the fleet of freighters transporting them to several SE Asian ports. When the rep broke into the shipping containers to retreive some samples, word leaked out among the crew as to the nature of the cargo. My source said that at last satellite contact, the fleet appeared to be sailing in large, lazy circles somewhere in the central pacific.
He also said that the vendor for the barcoding system has confirmed for them that the problem has been resolved, and they are not to worry about any other problems.
