Add to that lot's of fast paced changes....and agree...huge profit potential.

The critical element in future modem requirements: When bandwidth capacity reaches the critical "mass."

Then it becomes possible for drastic changes in the way we receive entertainment. People will be breaking down the doors to get this latest in entertainment capability.

One thing we can count on is that the rate of technological change is increasing exponentially. It took 15 years to go from 300 bps to 2400 bps. How long did it take to go from 2400 to 28,800? The bleeding edge may be closer than we think.
