That's a garbage rumor. To paraphrase the principal from Billy Madison, "That's is quite possibly the stupidest rumor we have ever heard, and we are all a little dumber for having listened to it."

I think it stems from a Fortune article a few weeks ago where the new year resolution for Michael Eisner was to buy Apple and bring in Steve Jobs to replace him. It was a joke, or it should have been.
