I think photodynamic therapy is going to become an important treatment, it has been in development for over 25 years. At this time it is beginning to come out of research and development and through clinical testing and so has begun its commercial development. Laser companies it seems have generally had a volatile existence with major swings in share prices, fames and fortunes, this just seems to be a characteristic of the field of business and certainly Laserscope has had its share of this. What I mean is that Laserscope seems to be as well run as any in its category of business and the problems are endemic to the industry. I don't know how to evaluate the potential size of the photodynamiuc therapy market but it seems that this form of treatment will become the preferred treatment for a number of conditions. Their relationship with QLT phototherapeutics seems to put them in an advantage to supply this market.
