Okay, Sean. Here's a question for you and the other gurus here. This is a true-or-false question, plus explanation for answer. I'm now studying (re-studying) moving averages. At present it appears to me that no particularly valuable insights can be obtained from sophisticated indicators derived from moving averages (MACD, for example) that can not be obtained by studying moving averages directly. Thus there really is no reason to seek out or create some derivative indicator -- just learn how to read your moving averages!! True or false? Thanks, Nicholas
