I also consider supporters of third trimester abortions to be radical. I consider those who argue for a gynocentric paradigm in the sciences to be radical, and those who argue that the government should mandate "comparable worth" salaries to be very radical. I would not argue that all prejudice is gone, especially in business, merely that the residual is more a matter for social evolution, not government action.

You forgot the stay at home mom tax issues, which are really my primary objection to the republican platform on womens issues. I am not in favor of social engineering legislation of any kind, the worst of which mucks with the tax code. In addition "family" based tax credits just offhand are somewhat discriminatory.... those that really need tax credits are single parent households. I will lay off the stay at home mom issues if the republicans stop trying to legislate it.... I really dont care much about personal choices people make.
