CWEI closed @ 14 1/8, -1 1/2, Bid 14 1/8 X Ask 14 3/8...Vol..254.7K

Oil was down another 0.87 today and the stock price of CWEI kept falling right along with it on very heavy volume. I spoke to a technical friend today and he said looking at the chart there appears to be a good support level at 13 3/4--that is coincident with the sale of the Secondary Offering back in mid-November. He said we should be getting ready for a bounce. Check the chart to see if you are in agreement with his analysis.

I received an Email from Lajuanda Holder CWEI and she said,>>>> "I talked to Mr. Williams this morning. He asked if I had talked to many investors about the stock price. He said to make sure and let people know that nothing has changed with the Company."<<<< Again CWEI is estimated to earn 1.78 (1.83) in the fourth quarter and CWEI's management is comfortable with that number--at a stock price of 14 1/8, CWEI is selling at less than 8X earnings, more like 7.5X earnings.

March Oil $22.23, down 0.87 (CWEI received $18.78 in Q1 1996)
Natural Gas 2.50, down 0.18 (CWEI received $2.29 in Q1 1996)
