Steve, concerning shorting against the box, is it your interpretation that the regs completely disallow this strategy, or is it just selling the long half on a down bid that is prohibited? I ask because my lousy broker requires up to 15 minutes before verifying availability of shares, and with all securities, including SPY. I guess my question is, am I allright as long as I make sure to sell on an uptick or at least 1/16 above the last inside bid? TIA, Barb
