Ace, I went to the patent office today to do my homework. What a place!!! You wouldn't believe the recent patents that have been granted in the communications field. All the giants have hundreds of them. There are lots of others by smaller companies like Inter-Digital, E-Systems, Codex, and Universal Data.... but much to my surprise none from IAS. Not even any from the past. I even searched for the president of the company's name and no luck. I followed up with investor relations at IAS and they said that they had a patent but the paperwork had not been finalized. I said, "So the patent is still pending then." He told me, "No, the paper work just hasn't caught up yet. We have a patent number and everything." Further probing uncovered that the president had recently sold the technology to the company. I had seen some mention of that in their financial statement and it is all clear to me now. I am going to follow up again next week to see if things have been finalized. Mark
