Maybe the discount was a little steeper than 20%. Maybe there's manipulation there, it's hard to know for sure. From what I have seen, the company appears to be acting in an opportunistic fashion that will enable them to secure financing while giving up a minimum of control. As an employee of a startup, I can certainly empathize with the approach. As a shareholder I guess it could be a concern. If you have unanswered questions - just pick up the phone and call them! I will summarize my notes from the conf. call and post them on the RB thread when I get a chance.
