TED,
First let me apologize since I am partially responsible for all those "off topic" posts. I will try to reduce my response to certain person here to once a day or less.
On that 9 reboot issue. If you only want to do one reboot test, you can simply take the diskette away after the first reboot test and let the machine boot from hard drive. However, when I did my test, I was not aware that many people, including yourself, believed that all those reboots to check other critical roll-over dates were not necessary. If I did, I would have probably just done one or two reboot test and then done one more on my customized date just trying to figure out the other Y2k problem I found. My PC was new and I didn't expect to find any problem anyway.
