I am not famaliar with most of MGJ's properties, but I will add these comments:

So far, their diamond properties in the NWT have been less than spectacular. Of the two areas, Victoria Island and the Winspear Area, I like their property beside Winspear the best. Outside of DiaMet and Aber's discoveries, this area (Winspear and Mtn. Province) holds the most promise for new diamond mines. Unfortunately, I don't believe they have announced any exploration plans for this area yet for 1999.

The property that I'll be watching very closely will be their SPIDER LAKE/STEEL RIVER CLAIM BLOCKS. This is a newly developing VMS Camp west of the Hemlo Goldfields.

Last summer, a first pass exploration program turned up a brand new base metal zone within a large halo of hydrothermally altered felsic fragmentals. The alteration signature is indicative of a large VMS system.

I expect a $200,000 - $400,000 trenching/drilling program starting in May/June. I believe this exploration will turn out to be VERY fruitful for MGJ.
