Adam, couldn't have said it better myself. However, let's expound on your first point a bit more. Specifically, the installed base factor has two important aspects. To wit, at this point there is a huge investment by corporations in both the Visio file format, and the training of people in Visio (as well as any VBA scripting tie-ins). So in order to sell Actrix to existing Visio customers, ADesk has to really sell Actrix as being substantially better...per the recent review posted, this is not the case. Moreover, Visio has a new version coming out this fall which is well ahead of Actrix. So even if Actrix is better than Visio on one or two points, Visio can just point to the features of the upcoming release to prevent any switchover.
