Voltaire, I have been trying to play Devil's advocate and even though the stock is taking a beating something tells me that it is all out of hand and I feel a rather calm inside. Yes I do indeed like the split. I think the only problem that analysts may have is the high PE on a stock with 31c earnings. Yes Niles must have gotten inside information and we were all really pissed off at this thinking that the info was not true or unsupported. But now when we get news about Dell everybody will be sure to jump. I wonder what is going to happen now next quarter before the earnings is announced??? Well there is an old saying that when there is blood on the floor you buy more. Hell that must be true for others since I do not have any money to buy anything but I do like that split and think Dell will work like hell to make the future better. one thing is for sure, if Dell falls everybody is going to go down with it.
