gregor,

Watch out I'm going to ramble a little ... <g>

Interview has been pushed out from this Fri to Fri two weeks later ... this is a good thing, gives me more time to prepare my sales pitch. The woman in human resources said it would be an all-day affair. It is a very conservative organization -- so I expected as much.

I'm thankful just for the oppty to interview. Up until now I didn't think I had a shot at getting my foot in the door somewhere like this
(doesn't speak well for me does it) ...

But you are right God is faithful ... I am freed up to do some other things that I was telling God I didn't have the time to do ... He always knows better ...

I have started running again the last couple of weeks --- praise God.
Sunday afternoon I took my son out on the trail with a guy who lives on our road (he is slightly mentally retarded, but he has the Spirit in a big way). Silly me, I chose to ride with the wind at our back on the way out ... coming back into the stiff wind wore us all out. Not a very good first experience for my friend. I hope he'll go again ...

Weather here was superb over the weekend, but has turned colder now ...

I have been especially blessed in times of corporate worship lately. Sunday our 'preacher' spoke point by point about the 'excuses' made by Moses as God was calling him to lead Israel ... what an encouraging lesson. God so demonstrated his kindness with Moses and Moses had feelings that we all have from time to time in our walk and our reluctance to do God's work -- the main point being that God has a very specific plan for each one of us ... there is a work for each one of us given to us by God that we were uniquely selected for ... there is no harm in being dogmatic about this, IMO.

As a part of our worship (since we are quite a small group) we have a children's lesson first. While that was going on I saw my friend who was leading the song service picking out some songs. I kept hearing the tune of "Oh Thou Fount of Every Blessing" running through my head ... I just went back and asked him if he could include it. Put me on a higher plane with my friends! Love the words, love the tune, still can't get it out of my head ...
