Night Writer, I kept saying that Institutions were selling DELL and buying CPQ and many people did not want to believe it. Institutions are not going to wait for the news to come out and the stock to tumble to 75 before they sell their stocks. They want premium price and they got it between July and December. You will be surprised at the tactics institutions use. They will put a big order to buy and drive the stock up so that amateurs would start buying the stock. Once amateurs start buying the stock and start pushing it up then institutions will turn arround and start selling the stock because they will get better price. This is what actually happen with DELL when it continued to go up while institution were selling. Institutions have insider information and that is why they start to buy or sell a stock before the news becomes public.
