Are you for real? You think Jobs should be compensated for losing Apple? First of all, Jobs did not 'own' Apple, it was a public company, and he was simply forced out via a boardroom coup where Sculley had more votes than Jobs did. It seems to me that the folks that need to be 'compensated' are the shareholders, and whether giving Jobs 400M for NEXT is the right way to begin to do that remains to be seen. I'm a trader that likes stocks that have cratered and are likely to bounce back, hence my interest in Apple, but I am not close to biting on the stock at this point.
