I can't believe I did not see this coming. A couple of friends of mine doing computer buying for the two biggest State of Florida Departments (Transportation and Education) All State of Florida Departments use DELL only (a little Compaq but not much) and both told be that their DELL reps. were riding them hard to buy more Computers late last month. They even offered them discounts which DELL typically does not do (150 bucks per machine in fact) I remember they mentioned how this seemed strange for DELL reps. as they are ususally "real cocky" (Their words, not mine) Damn, I am so pissed I did not put two and two together!! Nice job to the shorts who did figure out what was going on - all I got out of those guys was paying for their bears and I had good information right in front of me. Damn!
