Panasonic unveils Camcorders with CompactFlash!

steves-digicams.com

Panasonic has released 2 new DV digital Camcorders that also have a CompactFlash slot bult in so you can save still images to CF cards!

Now THAT is cool!

The CompactFlash cards allow us to add a valuable new feature to the camcorders that we believe will become a standard feature on future Panasonic camcorders. Panasonic fully supports the CompactFlash format and is using Compactflash cards in these new Palmcorders because they are portable, high performance, compact and durable."

No Flop!... CompactFlash is the Standard!

CompactFlash is growing by leaps and bounds every month. Any storage that wants to survive must be able to fit inot a CompactFlash slot. IBM knows this. That's why their 340MB TinyDrive can fit into a CF type II slot. Flop! is WAY too big to fit. Even just the Flop! disk alone is too big and wide to fit into a CF slot.

Flop! has no future.
