I don't know what they pay brokers at these firms you use but I don't see how they could afford to spend "two to three hours" on the phone with you while you day trade.

Interestingly enough, I understand that my trades can often account for as much as 80% of the broker's daily trade volume. That means it takes about 5 hours for the other 20%. While I'm shooting off trades at a clip of 1 a minute, other callers will chitchat, ask for quotes, deliberate possibilities, ask for information, etc., all of which slows down the process to a relative crawl.
