Interesting! Note the 3 headed, but otherwise blank pages reserved for the "future".

Curtis:

Sorry, I wasn't really responding or questioning anything at all in your posting, but merely getting to a 'Response' window by hitting 'Respond' in the last post, yours. I guess in the future I should be more careful, so my postings are not thought of as a rebuttal or commentary, when they are not intended as such.

I quite agree with you, by the way, that technical skill is no guarantee of success in business. In fact quite the opposite in many cases. As I said to someone in discussing LUMM the other day, I surely hope that once up and running with some success, and when able to afford it and events deem it necessary, the principals hire the necessary managers, with real world business experience to carry forward and multiply that success , and remain in the R&D area where they can be of the greatest benefit.

On the patents, I found two, and posted the details to the LUMM forum on Canada Stockwatch here:

Subject: Optical waveguide US Patents
Issued US Patents I found, for optical waveguides:

USP 5,080,503 Najafi; Seyed-Iraj et al Assigned to: Ecole Polytechnique.

USP 4,963,177 Najafi; Seyed-Iraj et al Assigned to: Canadian Patents And Development Ltd.

Both are for optical waveguides, and look so simple. But when you're dealing with light at the wavelength level, what looks simple, likely is simple, but discovering it, isn't so simple. And understanding it is another thing entirely! These US Patents are best viewed, IMHO, using IBM's Patent viewer here:

patents.ibm.com

Just enter the appropriate number, enter, and away you go. Everything is self guiding!

Cheers,

Don

PS:I haven't toured their facilities yet but will get on it tomorrow - ma~nana!!

Any info you have on 'Groome Capital' and those warrants, I'd be interested in seeing.

Cheers,

Don
