Buy a Cyrix 6x86-P166+ with a Cyrix certified motherboard (from www.cyrix.com), then, borrow a Pentium-200 system from your friends. To compare the system performance between both, put them side by side to cruise the internet and run the same applications that you use daily so that you could enough sense to tell the speed difference. After doing this kind of real life benchmarks yourself with updated experience, there is very chance that you might switch every penny of your investment to CYRX.
