Thanks, Dave. Microsoft tech is supposed to call me tomorrow & I'll ask about the Matrox card. The 2 ATIs did not work together when I removed the Matrox card. The 2 ATIs do work together on my Aptiva. There are so many variables! Shutting down for tonight. It's nice to hear from someone with similar problems. d.alexander
