I surmise that Jon set yours to zero as he understood you to want a bios dual boot in lieu of the OS loader.

Right... the 0 timeout of that boot.ini makes sense in order to ignore the osloader. I was thinking of changing the 30 sec to like 10 or so since 99 times out of 100 I'll let the default NT non VGA run

I do not think KOTs are in the textbooks.

Sometime when you have nothing better to do you could extract the boot.ini file from the first Drive Image

Yeah..right..when I have nothing better to do<gg>...I hear what your saying though. It is a puzzlement. That boot.ini had to of been modified to reference nto. Nto did not exist until last week, on my computer that is. The original DI boot.ini would tell us a good story. I'm a little afraid to go into an image if the restore is what caused the problem. But we don't know that.

I'll look tomorrow to see how a specific file can be extracted, as you were thinking.
