Paul read kash post 49809 says Celeron 400 now priced at $133. An $8 price higher than the $125 i said intel would have to have to start selling the chip. intel agressive pricing is aimed at rolling back AMd's progress in penitrating 50% of the sub$1000 maket. storys says Intel was caught flatfooted. do you agree with this criticism. Here is way i don't think Intel will suceed in regaining lost territory. Celeron chips are subpar. they work but lack two important features AMD offerers which Intel does not. 256K on board cache and D-3 instructions. The AMD chips up and down the line dleiver more for the money and the oems know it. why don't you or if you do know why won't you acknowledge it. I think you owe your amd thread audiance an explaination.
