Hi Phillip,

I don't know that Gil Amelio is the right man at the right time for Apple, I suspect he is not. As for Woz and Jobs, they have been brought back for what to me looks like motivational purposes. Unless there is some hidden agenda where Jobs will take over, he himself has said he will work one half day per week on Apple business, which does not sound like it will make much of a difference. I'm also really hazy on Apple's OS strategy, I still don't think they have quite figured out how things will work out. I don't question the superiority of the MAC in certain applications, my brother works in image processing and his company loves the things. However, as we all know that has not been enough for Apple. My take on things is that Apple will pull things together in the short run and the stock will pop, but the long run does not look good to me.

John
