True enough, but this one has played out many many times. Usually, if things change, there is some reason for it. For Dell it was increasing competition: competitors adopting its model, and loss (instead of the typical gain) of market share. What is different this time for AMAT from all the other times it has been at this point of the cycle?? I don't see it....

BTW AMAT is gaining market share in virtually every segment.
