Zitel Awarded Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Contract

FREMONT, Calif., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Zitel Corporation (Nasdaq: ZITL) announced today that it has received and completed a contract to audit 7 million lines of IBM MVS COBOL code from a large financial firm in Canada. This initial project was completed with Zitel's teaming partner, Summit 2000 Inc., utilizing MatriDigm Corporation's Millennuim Control System (MICOS(TM)) to analyze the MVS COBOL code and the MatriDigm Analysis of Renovated Code 2000 (MARC2000(SM)) process for the IV&V phase. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
