Hi Jerome,

You did indeed call it well! Congratulations in preserving your capital and your profits.

I did not fare as well. Violated my own rules and experience and went down with the ship. Not easy to confess and admit to. But I don't believe in being dishonest with myself or anyone else.

I make no excuses. For me a lot more was at stake then I care to discuss. At some point, I will use the value of this lesson in a healthy fashion and put into perspective, the imbalance and the disharmony between my heart and mind and work towards greater cooperation and integration and self discipline.

In other words, I hope I can get my act together:)

Hesitate to make any predications about where Dell's bottom will be. The "stock bottom" is, for some of us, determined by the function of a stop loss and comes under the heading of what is low enough for me.

More to your question, I would be surprised if we hit 20! Then again I am surprised at the degree of stock loss we already experienced.

If it does hit 20 (split adjusted) a lot of us who went down with the ship (some believing it is a submarine) will have to abandon it for a raft. A few of us can't swim, we never learned how. I hope they can survive another drubbing like this (if indeed that were to happen next quarter).

On the other hand, we may indeed be in a submarine and we may yet reemerge to see daylight and perhaps sooner then some anticipate.

I am hopeful that we will put this sad situation behind us and those of us who stayed in the stock will find that this situation while disturbing is not lifestyle threatening.

I will guess that it will not go down much further then it goes down to today. However I do recognize reasons why it could. Things like competitive pressures increasing (likely)and Dells forward opportunities narrowing( unlikely). Of course something else may happen that impacts the overall market including Dell.

You probably will guess that I look forward to global expansion and the server and storage market as pluses for Dell going forward.

Shortly, we will reach a point where we will look forward to 1st Quarter results and the optimism MD will exhibit today in his CNBC at 11 am interview. Perhaps that optimism will be reflected in the price going forward.

Sincere compliments to you and your perceptive call.

Regards,

QT
