You're absolutely right about the explosion in data traffic.... Solution? Cable modems, Fibre Optics, ATM, ADSL? Only ATM and Fibre Optics are proven and now. Fibre Optics future? ADSL and Cable modems are possible major breakthroughs, but ATM is proven now. Speculative solution= Cable modems + ADSL Realistic solution= ATM That's why over 90% of my portfolio is in CSCO, FORE, STRM, OLCMF, and CYLK and for good measure AMTX to cover the ADSL bet.
