Review: GBLX up 38%, CNXT flat - New picks CZN, PLA Hey this guy's not bad. New long and short for a tough market: Citizens Utilities (CZN - 7 1/2) Buy. This company has very little downside, down about 40% from when its telco-utility breakup was announced. Mm is looking for significant margin improvement in the telco business this year and renewed investor interest as the break-up approaches (3Q 99). Holding it from here through the break-up, it is easy to envision a double in 2 years, maybe sooner. Playboy (PLA - 23 1/8) Short. This week Playboy will close a deal and distribute 2.5 million shares into the hands of arbs and other assorted porno kings who dont want it. PLA is already up a lot after putting out internet news releases and negotiating a smart international deal. Selling presure is coming.
