Jack, I agree with you about the "Contract with America", as they really did drop the ball on that one, after doing some positive things with it. I also agree that the country is sick to death of lawyers and zillions of laws that almost anyone can violate at any time, but what the president did was CLEARLY wrong and illegal, even before bashing lawyers became fair game and laws were relatively simple and straightforward. About the 13 "white males", this sounds like racist rhetoric to me, and I suppose it would have made you feel better if the 13 were made up of different skin colors, and divided equally between the sexes, including homosexuals, both male and female!
