I didn't mean to imply that this was 100% partisan, though I would hardly regard Orin Hatch as a typical Republican. Democrats as a group have traditionally been against bigness or success, Republicans more sympathetic. There are people in each party that do not fit the mold, though in the last few years this has become less common, especially in the case of the Democrats. In any case your comments just reinforce my view that relying on any kind of political help is futile. Personally, I think that the trial results are already a done deal.
