Man Acquitted Of Murder - (LINCOLN) -- A mentally-ill man who sometimes referred to himself as ''King Tut'' has been acquitted on murder charges. The ''Omaha World-Herald'' reports 39-year-old Vance ''Rod'' Alderman is a diagnosed schizophrenic who claimed he was NOT guilty in the shooting death of 72-year-old Eleanor Thompson. Both prosecutors and defense attorneys agreed he could NOT tell right from wrong... and Rock County District Judge William Cassel acquitted him of the charges in a brief court hearing. The judge ordered Alderman committed to the Lincoln Regional Center for evaluation. A treatment plan will be outlined in a May hearing.

Ummm...Evaluation?? Not that they haven't done that already...but, an evaluation should take about 99 years...I hope.

They could give him a Gun license and turn him loose.
