For anyone who took the time to read the 'circular', you'd find it interesting but possibly disturbing reading. I won't comment on your questions at this point, but for all that follows, the comments are my personal thoughts and opinions and are said in civility.
If you go further trough the 'circular', you may note that very few of the insiders appear to have anything significant to lose monetarily if the project(s) are flushed. The people exposed (big time) are we holding the little bits of paper and a whole lot of deminishing promises. In short, I've put my thoughts on the thread before and they still stand. Mr. Hart, for all intents and purposes, appears to be the Company.
For the Group and personally, I hope I'm wrong (at least in this instance) but we are now on the brink of something. Management has yet to respond to the Band's statement on SI and that is the legacy and history of management - only I'm not so sure that accurately describes their knowledge and the need to act/communicate. There is nothing that justifys silence on a situation that imperils the whole affair, not even if everything turns out rosey (and that seems ever more remote at this point).
If the Band doesn't go through (even if there's an enforcable contract in place, check the reserves for a protracted court battle) then we have Richmond. It's too important to leave to chance and we come full circle to the Vancouver crowd and their very wealthy associates. If it's any good, SGGNF will not be the only creatures at the table.
As a thread participant recently said: "Once shame on you; twice, shame on me". As for accountability, a mirror is about as far as you have to go. No, I'm not saying it's over but for anyone going to the AGM (at least someone in the Vancouver area), please report back in detail as best you can under the circumstances. If you've been to any AGM and in particular to this Company's past AGM's, you know the questions to ask. There are no silly questions at this point (only those not asked) and these people need to questioned civilly but face to face on so many unanswered questions.
More promises, particularly those with dates, are the old fodder for the masses - treat that like the dead woodchucks they are - smell and all. Truthful and tangible answers (as in verifiable by persons of planet earth and not associated with vested interests) as well as weasal phrases are all important for better picture.
Again, I hope great news (tangible also) ushers forth but the circular seemed to be 'business as usual'. Gentlemen/Ladies, in my opinion, we're circling the bowl and although not flushed, this may be the last chance to get meaningful answers (if any are available). Bad things happen when good people do nothing and this thread should be a lively forum of discussion at this point in time!!!
May things go well but let's get this thread humming - someone is going to the 'soiree' and let's try and give the individuals a sheet of questions. There are answers - false, weasle and true. It's time to find out since time appears to be very much against us.
I wish only the best to those of us remaining and congratulations to those who successfully got out.
R.W.
P.S.: This posting was designed to provoke meaningful comment - Group or, dare I say, the Company too - let's not be a disappointment. Oh yes, I wouldn't be too concerned of giving our opponents ammunition or new ideas. If this is good, they are many steps ahead of us and have contingency plans to ensure success (however you want to define it). |
