*AV*--Short funny story. Genus Corp had some deposition equipment years ago that bombed big time. The Tungsten film peeled off and was also the cause of a great deal of particulate contamination. We finally got rid of that system and the device technology it was purchased for. So, when GNUS, years latter, came out with its MEV implanter and its newer Tungsten Dep systems, we steered clear of them both. the transition was to movbe away from the Dep equipment and focus more on the Implanters. The BILLI process showed promise but the impanter was a maintenance nightmare. Moral of the story is that GNUS sold off the assets of the implanters to another company and was left with the Deposition system once again. Long memories paid off there.

Of course, when I was approached for the VECO IPO @$9 (I think that was the price), my previous experiences and long memory led me to tell the broker, "I wouldn't even accept the shares as a gift". Well, sometimes a company can turn a corner and re-invent itself. I have been chasing and playing this emotional roller coaster form the mid 20s and above. A faulty memory would have had me in this IPO shares with close to a $50 price tag now<GGG>.
