Amazing, that we have the most widely held company in the world about to complete a deal that will give it cable access to half the homes in the nation and we get a few idle posts here. I guess shareholders are either that sure of the company, or the majority of stockholders still think T is just a phone company.
Most people mis read the TCI deal when it was announced, and they still don't quite get it. This is big! And the markets have yet to acknowledge the unlimited potential! T's value is at least $100 a share, and if tech/net valuations are applied add another 50%.
Seems that AOL, MCI, Worldcom, and others are taking notice with their formation of the Open Net coalition. They were pretty smug until T made the deal, now they all want access through opening of the system. I say give them access, but make them pay, pay, pay.
