Remember, the beta release today just shows a nice interface that for some reason the other search engines don't use right now. It reminds me of when everyone followed Microsofts lead and switched to the explorer interface. I bet the others will follow in time.

If you took the time to download and run the Wordcruncher Dos product you would see the advanced searching features. This in my opinion is what will generate more excitement. The indexing technology keeps track of the relative position of words. For example you can ask for a search that restricts the words to the same paragraph or within 25 words of each other, etc. Although the other engines could adapt to this interface quickly if needed, I think the paradigm shift in the relative indexing technology would be much harder.

The key here is that SpyHop will allow you to find less hits and the hits will be more relevant. This means less time wasted searching for results and more time using the results.

BTW, I have confirmed that these feature are planned for SpyHop (I called them direct at (801) 816-9904).

I think a lot of features are close but not released yet ... look at the Dos product for clues and have patience folks.
