I think you have it out of order.  First she tells you she loves you.  Then you have children, which you work to support.  At some point during pregnancy, you may feel like letting her quit work, which is optional, unless she has complications.  After the kids are born, if you don't support them, she can get a court to order you to do it.  If you don't obey the court order, and are in contempt of court, you can go to jail.  
  Well, you are right, it's a lot of responsibility, being a father, and a husband.  Certainly nothing to take on if you are not up for it.
  So, since you enjoy female companionship, you simply limit yourself to short-term relationships.  It makes sense.  Just hope you don't get the woman pregnant inadvertantly.  Use birth control.
  I like the idea of growing old with someone who loves me, that I love, so we can take care of each other.  Richer and poorer, thick and thin, sickness and health, death do us part.  Stuff like that.  |
