I don't think big blue will bite. I've heard that IBM has delayed plans to market their new Mac compatibles in North America due to internal politics from the people developing their PC line. If these forces continue to prevent the Mac compatibles from coming out, they're sure to prevent any acquisition of Apple as well. IMO
